Staff Selection Commission Invited Application For Combined Graduate Level Examination. Candidate for Various Posts of Central Government such as Assistants, Postal Inspector, Excise Inspector, Income Tax Inspector, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Divisional Account, Statistical Investigator, Auditor, Junior Account, UD clerk, Tax Assistant, Compiler are appointed by this examination.
Qualifications:
1.Graduation in economics/statistics/mathematics for the post of compiler.
2. Graduation in statistics or graduation in mathematics/economics/ commerce with statistics as a Subject for post of statistical investigator
Grade-II.
3. Any Graduation for Other Posts.
4. Computer Knowledge must for Post Of Assistant.
5. Prescribed physical standard for post of SI and Excise Inspector.
Selection
Selection will be on the basis of two tier written examination and interview.
The first tier examination to be held on 19th and 26th june,2011 at various centres.Those Passed First Tier Examination admitted to Second Tier examinations to be held on 3rd and 4th september,2011.Both examinations will be objective type and there is negative mark for wrong answer.

1st Tier Examination Covers General Intelligence And Reasoning( 50 Marks),General Awareness ( 50 Marks ), Numerical Aptitude (50 Marks),English Comprehension (50 Marks).Total-200
2nd Tier Examination Covers Arithmetical Abilities (200),English and Comprehension (200),( Statistics For 200 Marks For Statistics Grade-II).
Applicant can apply both online and offline. Last Date for Application:
April 15, 2011 and 22nd April for Lakshadweep resident by post.
